1. You must own the music you use

You may only generate a map from a song you have the right to use: music you wrote, music you hold a licence for, or music the rights holder has permitted you to use this way. That applies equally to files you upload and to YouTube links you paste. We do not check ownership and we do not license music on your behalf.

You are responsible for the audio you submit and for any map you make from it. If we receive a valid takedown notice for a song or map, we will remove it and may close the account that made it.

2. What the service does

nullbeat turns an audio track into a Beat Saber custom map using a machine-learning model. The result is generated, not hand-made, and we make no promise that any particular map will be playable, fun, or to your taste. One credit generates one song at every difficulty. Credits are refunded automatically when generation fails; they are not refunded because you did not like the map.

3. Beta

The service is in beta. Things will change without notice: the model, the pricing, the features, and the shape of the maps. It may be unavailable at times. Beta pricing is a discount, not a rate we are committing to keep.

4. We keep your maps for a while, then delete them

Generated maps stay in your library for 90 days after they are made, and the audio you uploaded is kept for 7 days so a failed job can be retried. After that they are deleted and cannot be recovered. Download anything you want to keep. The site is not a backup, and we are not liable for a map you did not save.

You can delete a map yourself at any time from your library, which removes it immediately.

5. Payment

Credits are sold in packs and paid for through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Credits do not expire while your account exists, cannot be transferred, and are not exchanged for cash. If you have a problem with a charge, contact us before disputing it with your bank.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to infringe anyone's rights, to attack the site or the people running it, or to build a competing dataset from its output. Do not share your account. We may suspend an account that abuses the service.

7. Not affiliated with Beat Games or Meta

nullbeat is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Beat Games, Meta Platforms, or any other rights holder of Beat Saber. "Beat Saber" is a trademark of Beat Games and is used here only to describe what the maps are for. Custom maps are played through community tooling that we do not control.

8. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost maps, lost time, or anything that happens when you play a generated map. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the ninety days before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the version you are reading. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
